Vera is a driven and high-performing compliance professional with more than 10 years of experience, offering extensive background in Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management combined with solid experience in Internal Auditing and Internal Controls. She is the author of the first and only book on compliance in Russian language, “Compliance program of organisation: a hands-on guide for compliance professionals on how to build a first-class compliance program.” In 2017 the book was nominated for the Business Book of the Year award at PWC.
Vera is the former Regional Compliance Officer for Hilti Eastern Europe, CHF 4,200 million global leading company in providing products, systems, and services to construction professionals. Experienced leader with proven ability to motivate multi-organizational and distributed teams in achieving challenging goals.
She speaks four languages: Russian, English, French and Italian. Served on the 2013 B20 Taskforce on Anti-Corruption, which drafted recommendations to G20 leaders for consideration in their global economic policies.
An accomplished compliance professional, in 2011 and 2016 awarded for “Best Compliance officer” at the International Compliance Association in Compliance Awards.
