Andrew Bates

Andrew Bates is the Chief Executive Officer of NAVEX, where he drives the company’s long-term vision to deliver the world’s most trusted risk, ethics and compliance software.

With more than 20 years of experience in senior finance and operational leadership roles, Andrew brings deep SaaS expertise and a passion for building high-performance teams that scale. He is known for his ability to align financial discipline with bold strategic initiatives—balancing risk, opportunity, and purpose to accelerate customer acquisition, retention, and global market expansion.

Andrew’s journey with NAVEX spans over a decade, including his early tenure as Vice President of Finance, where he helped steer the company through key phases of growth and transformation. In 2019, he stepped away to serve as Chief Financial Officer at Viewpoint Software, gaining broader executive experience before returning to NAVEX in 2022, as Chief Financial Officer, to help lead the company into its next chapter.

Previously, he held leadership roles at Pixelworks and began his career as a CPA in public accounting. A graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Andrew earned a degree in economics and brings a rigorous analytical mindset to every challenge.
