Alison is a Clinical Associate Professor at NYU Stern School of Business and Executive Director of Ethical Systems. She has spent the past two decades consulting with multinational companies on risk, anti-corruption, sustainability, human rights, culture and behavior, stakeholder engagement, ESG, and ethics and compliance–including as a senior advisor at sustainability nonprofit BSR, a member of the Board at Venture ESG, and a sustainability adviser at Zai Lab, KKR, and Pictet Group.

Prior to joining Ethical Systems, she was a managing director at Business for Social Responsibility, running the sustainability management, futures and supply chain practices. Alison also worked at Transparency International, Control Risks, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Fordham Law School. She is a 2023-24 member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Good Governance, and is currently writing a book for Harvard Business Review Press on how companies can do the right thing in a turbulent world.

    As one of the earliest ethics officers in the industry, Carrie previously served four years as deputy director of the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association, now ECI. A scientist by training, she developed and directed the first corporate-wide global ethics program at Westinghouse Electric Corporation between 1994 and 1999. Carrie now leads NAVEX’s risk management processes and oversees its internal ethics and compliance program.  

    Carrie has extensive client-facing risk and compliance consulting experience, including more than 15 years as an adviser to boards and executive teams. Carrie was awarded the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Compliance 2020 by Compliance Week magazine. In 2017, she received the ECI’s Carol R.     Prior to joining Cook Medical, Heather served as the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Officer for ProCure Treatment Centers, a company that builds and operates proton therapy treatment centers for patients with cancer.   • What if I miss it?

    Not a problem! If registered, you will get access to the full virtual conference platform archive after the event for a limited time using your existing login. We will send you instructions on how to access the archive in our event communications.

  • Is it accredited for CEUs?

    The event is not pre-accredited for specific certifications. However, all webinars will produce a generic attendance certificate that you may use to apply for continuing education credits through the accrediting agency of your choice.

  • What is the tech setup?

    Audio and video are streamed through the internet on your device. There is no phone dial-in available. Ensure your internet connection is strong so you do not experience any degradation or lagging during audio transmission. 

    Disconnecting from a VPN is recommended. Refrain from running media or other applications or downloading large files while accessing the event. 

    We will share additional system testing and troubleshooting information prior to the event. There will also be technical support during the event standing by to assist.
