Mark Robertson is Deputy General Counsel at NAVEX, where he plays a key leadership role in overseeing the company’s legal, risk, and compliance functions. In this capacity, he helps guide NAVEX’s global legal strategy and supports the organization in navigating complex regulatory and business challenges.
Mark brings deep expertise across a broad range of legal disciplines, including compliance, intellectual property, employment, litigation, commercial transactions, and product development. He has been instrumental in maintaining and advancing NAVEX’s internal risk and compliance program, ensuring alignment with evolving global standards and best practices.
Prior to joining NAVEX, Mark was in private practice in Beverly Hills, where he represented artists, entrepreneurs, and performing arts organizations in the music industry, with a focus on intellectual property and commercial matters.
Mark earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. He holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Puget Sound.
A recognized voice in the compliance community, Mark is a frequent speaker on emerging ethics and compliance topics and has presented at industry events including the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC).
