The two organisations will expand availability of ethics and compliance solutions in Italy

London – June 27, 2018 – Leading ethics and compliance software and services company NAVEX Global® today announced a strategic partnership with the Omniapart Group, which will expand its offering of business consultancy services to include NAVEX Global’s ethics and compliance solutions.

Through the partnership, Omniapart Group will provide a comprehensive suite of services to its clients across a number of sectors. The incorporation of NAVEX Global’s advanced range of ethics and compliance SaaS solutions and services – including whistleblower and speak-up help lines, third party due diligence solutions, incident and policy management solutions and online compliance training courses – allows the Omniapart Group to further broaden its existing reach in the Italian market, as well as adding further value to its services provision.

On November 15, 2017, the Italian Parliament approved legislation that will improve existing whistleblowing provisions in Italy. The main innovation being the widespread introduction of formal, comprehensive whistleblowing guidelines for the private sector.

Amending current regulation on corporate administrative liability, the Whistleblowing Law stipulates that organisations’ compliance programmes must detail one or more channels of reporting of misconducts, as well as providing greater protection of whistleblowers’ identity. The law also addresses previous deficiencies in reporting processes, with a particular focus on anti-corruption.
