With over 20 years of marketing experience, she has continued to bring to market software and features aimed at improving user and employee experiences when performing risk and compliance tasks. She endeavors to help customers understand how NAVEX can assist them in achieving regulatory and cultural objectives by developing comprehensive marketing strategies that highlight what makes NAVEX products truly different. 

    Before joining NAVEX, Kara refined her skills as both a competitive and product marketing manager at companies such as Xerox and Kodak Alaris, concentrating on digital transformation and artificial intelligence and increasing her knowledge in these innovative fields. She holds a master’s degree in marketing and is passionate about empowering companies to develop innovative software platforms that effectively address their customers’ most challenging needs. Leveraging her profound knowledge of technology, she is dedicated to crafting engaging and persuasive narratives that resonate deeply with customers’ needs and desires.

    Erena advises on regulatory change and compliance, with hands-on delivery experience across Europe, APAC, Latin America, and the US. She is an expert in areas where technology and regulatory interests intersect, drawing on her extensive legal training and experience working in banking, healthcare, robotics and biometric identity compliance, combined with a long history delivering software development projects at large and complex organisations. 

    Erena helps businesses cut through legislative complexity and translate it into workable product roadmaps and shipped capabilities, spanning frameworks including EU AI Act, EU Product Liability Directive, CSRD, GDPR, PDPL, and fiscal and security certification standards across Europe, Americas and APAC.  

    Erena holds an LLB in English and Welsh Law and an LLM in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University School of Law. She is an active member of the California Bar and was honoured to serve as a law clerk for the Third Judicial District of New York State.

    Jamil brings more than 25 years of experience leading large-scale AI, data, and transformation initiatives for global Fortune 500 organizations. Most recently, as Vice President of AI Engineering and Transformation at State Street, he spearheaded building a next-generation agentic AI platform that combined machine learning, research, and reasoning agents to convert thousands of operational procedures into autonomous workflows. He also delivered a ML-based anomaly detection platform, deployed AI copilots across multiple business units, and helped shape enterprise AI governance through leadership roles on the AI Risk Governance Council and Emerging Technology Center of Excellence.

    Before joining State Street, Jamil spent more than a decade at Publicis Sapient as Director of Digital Transformation, advising C-suite leaders across asset management, banking, hedge funds, and the public sector on data and AI strategy. His work included platform modernization for the City and County of San Francisco, data governance and operating model transformation for Parametric Portfolio Associates, buy-versus-build and legacy data transformation advisory for Franklin Templeton, and post-merger data integration for the IFS and Goldman Sachs HFA merger at State Street.

    Jamil brings a distinctive combination of deep technical expertise in AI and data, a strong product mindset, and a proven ability to translate strategy into scalable customer and business value. He is a hands-on executive who pairs strategic vision with technical credibility, builds high-performing teams, and maintains a disciplined focus on execution and outcomes.

    Jamil holds an Executive Business Management qualification from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Madurai Kamaraj University, India.
