Paul is a Director within BDO’s Ethics & Compliance service line and focuses on helping businesses build and embed Ethics & Compliance frameworks and managing and mitigating Ethics & Compliance risks including fraud, bribery and corruption, competition, trade compliance and human rights, including modern slavery.
Recently Paul has spent a lot of time helping clients with their fraud prevention frameworks in preparation for the new failure to prevent fraud offence, including risk assessments for several FTSE 250 clients, readiness assessments and fraud framework builds.
Paul practiced as a solicitor for 25 years and is a former Army Officer and in house legal counsel with the Home Office. In the last 12 years Paul has held senior roles in Ethics & Compliance with Serco, Centrica and most recently as the Group Head of Ethics & Compliance at Mott MacDonald.
