Launched in March 2017, Compliance Next has become a go-to resource for compliance professionals across industries and functional disciplines.

Portland, Ore., February 13, 2018 – Leading ethics and compliance software and services company NAVEX Global® today announced that Compliance Next, the industry’s first member-driven compliance community, has surpassed 5,000 members – outpacing even the most optimistic growth estimates at the time of its launch less than a year ago.

Compliance Next’s value has also been recognized by other professional organizations with a stake in corporate ethics and compliance. The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) has chosen Compliance Next as the exclusively-endorsed compliance resource for its members. The association will refer members to select assets on Compliance Next for its Ethics and Compliance Learning Track and collaborate with Compliance Next to create custom materials for use by the ACC.

Compliance Next has achieved several other impressive milestones, including a membership with representatives from more than 100 countries. This global reach is a further indication of the growing importance of ethics and compliance around the world.

“In addition to providing a wealth of professional development resources, Compliance Next is a venue where members support each other, seek advice and vet ideas on how they can effectively change workplace culture for the better,” said Chris Morton, NAVEX Global Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Traffic on the site is robust and dynamic. So far, members have downloaded nearly 10,000 pieces of Compliance Next content – the most popular of which are sample policy documents. In addition, the site hosts more than 50 instructional videos on topics ranging from code of conduct improvements to tips on presenting to the board of directors. To date, total Compliance Next videos have been viewed more than 20,000 times. Among the more popular programs is one called Expert Advice in 90-seconds or Less. Experts featured in this series include partners from the internationally-recognized employment law firm Baker McKenzie as well as industry thought leader CREATe Compliance.

“Our goal is to make Compliance Next incredibly useful to members, so content is delivered in different formats in order to appeal to different learning styles. The popularity of video on the site validates our initial assumption that it would be preferred by up-and-coming compliance professionals” said Morton.

“The role of compliance in organizations is expanding,” said Pamela Passman, President and CEO, CREATe Compliance. “Professionals need to understand how to meet new requirements and mitigate risks for a broad range of issues. Compliance Next offers useful resources to help practitioners navigate this evolving landscape.”

Active partnerships with industry leaders ensure that community members are provided with the most relevant and useful information available. Compliance Next also affords members direct access to best-in-class expert advice, industry-vetted resources and leading-edge best practices. Behind each piece of educational content, contributing experts showcase their varying areas of expertise to improve the work of compliance professionals around the world.

In addition to Baker McKenzie, the ACC and CREATe Compliance, Compliance Next content contributors include the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the American Hospital Association, among others.
