PORTLAND, Ore.— November 21, 2022NAVEX, the leader in integrated risk and compliance management software, today announced the company has been honored as a 2022 Top Workplace in the Charlotte metropolitan area by the Charlotte Observer.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey measures 15 unique culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization – including alignment, execution, and employee connection, among others.

Energage also recognized NAVEX with awards for cultural excellence in Employee Well-Being and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. The honor follows NAVEX being named a 2022 Oregon Top Workplace earlier this year by the Portland Oregonian.

“We believe people thrive best in a workplace that is committed to their overall growth and experience in life,” said Cindy Raz, chief people officer at NAVEX. “A strong corporate culture – one that resonates with a diverse group of people and unites them through a powerful sense of purpose – is what enables NAVEX to thrive. We consistently strive to develop a place where people feel cared for and celebrated for what they do and for who they are as a person. Based solely on feedback from our team, this honor reinforces the actions we are taking that resonate with people and the importance of continuous listening.”

The honor comes as NAVEX continues to implement innovative people programs that foster a relative and forward-looking culture. Under Raz’s leadership, and with support at every level, NAVEX has expanded well-being resources and training and development programs, created multiple community groups, and in 2023, a new paid Life Leave program will be rolled out. “Great people programs must be tightly connected to meaningful action and behaviors,” added Raz, “regardless of the talent market, we know we must consistently earn the opportunity to retain great people.”

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
