Bob Conlin

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of NAVEX, Bob leads the executive team and serves as chairman of the board of directors. He leverages more than 25 years of senior management experience in operations, sales, marketing, product management and business development to champion NAVEX’s vision, strategy and execution.

Bob began his tenure at NAVEX as President and Chief Operating Officer. Under his leadership, NAVEX has grown organically and through multiple acquisitions to become one of the largest and most recognized and respected brands in the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) arena.

Sean M. Thompson

President, Chief Operating Officer

As President & COO for NAVEX, Sean leads go-to-market planning and execution and supports customer success, product innovation and operational excellence strategies. Sean is also a member of the NAVEX board of directors.

Sean began his career at Deloitte Consulting, where he managed service line delivery in areas such as ERP (SAP), Business Intelligence, Process Reengineering, Risk Analysis (Audit) and M&A advisory (Tax). He also served as a member of Deloitte’s Senior Management Advisory Committee.

Andrew Bates

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Andrew Bates is responsible for NAVEX finance, accounting, financial risk management and helping steer mergers and acquisitions. With more than two decades experience in senior finance roles, Andrew brings his unique ability to create value from data-driven decision making to NAVEX. As an experienced SaaS finance executive, Andrew has a strong track record of strategic leadership through strong growth.

Steve Chapman

Chief Customer Officer

As Chief Customer Officer, Steve Chapman is responsible for all NAVEX customer success efforts including professional services, implementation services, data services, customer support, operations and our customer success management teams. With more than 24 years of experience, he has successfully led customer-focused teams driving growth, retention, and exceptional customer experiences. In additional to Customer Success, Steve oversees our Global Contact Center and Telecom operations.

Prior to NAVEX, Steve worked as a change management consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he specialized in the implementation of enterprise software products and solutions. Steve also founded and contributed to the successful startup of Aon, a SaaS provider of integrated risk control management solutions for Fortune 2000 corporations, loss prevention firms and the insurance carrier markets.

Bob McCarter

Chief Technology Officer

Bob McCarter leads NAVEX’s product, development, information technology and hosted operations teams focused on globally creating and delivering innovative products and services. He brings over two decades of experience developing and delivering information systems and products.

Previously, Bob was chief technology and innovations officer for Global Compliance. He successfully drove growth through operational integration of acquisitions and ownership of full product lifecycle planning. In the mid-90s, Bob held a succession of positions at Pinkerton’s consulting and investigations division including director of strategic initiatives and chief technology officer. Prior to his career in consulting, he held roles at AT&T.

Carrie Penman

Chief Risk & Compliance Officer

As one of the earliest ethics officers in the industry, Carrie Penman has been with NAVEX since 2003 after serving four years as deputy director of the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association (ECOA) now ECI. A scientist by training, she developed and directed the first corporate-wide global ethics program at Westinghouse Electric Corporation from 1994-1999.

As Chief Risk and Compliance Officer for NAVEX, Carrie leads the company’s formal risk management processes. She also oversees its internal ethics and compliance activities employing many of the best practices that NAVEX recommends to its customers.

Mike Porter

Chief Sales Officer

Mike Porter is NAVEX’s Chief Sales Officer. He brings extensive international sales strategy and management experience to this role. Over the last 20 years, he has helped numerous technology companies transform their businesses, accelerate growth and enable sustainable success.

Immediately before joining NAVEX, Mike was Senior Vice President of Global Field Operations at Backstop Solutions where he led sales, marketing and customer success. Prior to this he was Vice President of Americas at Progress Software, where he assisted in rebuilding the organization and go to market plans to achieve the strategic objective of becoming a leading PaaS vendor.

Susan Beermann

Chief Marketing Officer

Susan Beermann owns responsibility for NAVEX’s worldwide marketing strategy and execution. As Chief Marketing Officer, she leads the company’s marketing and brand strategy with a focus on customer satisfaction and success. She is also responsible for NAVEX’s go-to-market strategy, growth marketing, corporate marketing and communications as well as partner marketing and business development.

Prior to joining NAVEX, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Ellie Mae, a SaaS platform provider for the mortgage finance industry. During her time at Ellie Mae, she established the company as the recognized leader in mortgage finance software and was instrumental in driving impressive year-over-year growth. She has also led marketing at Jigsaw, Taleo, and early in her career, held senior marketing roles at Microsoft and IBM.

A.G. Lambert

Chief Product Officer

A.G. Lambert is Chief Product Officer at NAVEX where he is responsible to drive the company’s product vision and strategy, delivering product portfolio revenue growth. Helping NAVEX further its product innovation and leadership, A.G. is expert at optimizing product strategy to meet current and future needs of customers, partners and the industry.

Prior to joining NAVEX, A.G. served as Chief Product Strategy Officer at SAP Concur. A.G. has also held positions leading product management and marketing teams at Saba, Infor, Extensity and Autodesk. A.G. earned his AB in Physics and English Literature from Washington University and his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Roger Akers

SVP, Global Contact Center Operations

Roger brings more than 23 years of contact center leadership experience to NAVEX’s operations in the U.S., Europe and Central America. Throughout his career, he has served the third party service provider space across multiple industry verticals with inbound, outbound and business process outsourcing services. He also brings more than 15 years of international experience to NAVEX call center operations, having previously opened and operated contact centers in both India and the Philippines.

Prior to his current role, Roger served as vice president of operations for Global Contact Services while concurrently holding the position of president of GCS Agents Asia Pacific.

Giles Newman

Managing Director, International

As Managing Director for NAVEX’s international business, Giles is responsible for the consolidation and expansion of the organisation’s presence across the EMEA, MENA and APAC regions. With almost thirty years’ experience in driving international growth, he has successfully led teams internationally within the SaaS, data, and media and telecoms sectors. A proud exponent of customer-centric leadership, Giles strives to ensure that we deliver great products and service to all of our customers.

Shon Ramey

General Counsel

Shon has focused his legal career on corporate law and regulatory and compliance matters. During his more than 25 years of practicing law, Shon has managed corporate law departments and counseled multi-national corporations on transactional and compliance matters. As NAVEX’s general counsel, he is responsible for the legal department and provides direction and oversight to the human resources and global privacy functions.

Cindy Raz

SVP, HR and Organizational Development

As Senior Vice President of HR and Organizational Development for NAVEX, Cindy brings more than 20 years’ experience leading human resources functions and business operations within rapid-growth organizations. Since joining NAVEX, Cindy has led several change initiatives associated with the merger and acquisition of multiple companies, including enhancing existing cultural programs, reducing undesired employee turnover and establishing people programs and strategies as a critical contribution to business success.

Haywood Marsh

General Manager, NAVEX IRM and NetClaim

Haywood leads the NAVEX IRM and NetClaim businesses at NAVEX as General Manager. He leverages his experience in operations, marketing, strategic planning, product management and sales to drive the execution of NAVEX IRM’s and NetClaim’s strategies.

Prior to his current role, Haywood served as the VP of Strategic Programs at NAVEX, managing the Project Management Organization, Release Management and Business Systems teams. Immediately before joining NAVEX, Haywood led Marketing, strategic/ product planning and an Inside Sales team for a division of Danaher.
