Position Summary:

As the Senior Manager over Data Services, you will manage a team of Technical Specialists, Web Specialists, Quality Assurance Specialists and Telecom Engineers who deliver ethics and compliance product solutions to our customers.  You will manage the day-to-day operations of the team to ensure timely completion of all work cases while maintaining an excellent standard of quality.

In this hands-on role your skills in personnel management, scoping/sales support, quality assurance and work prioritization/triage will be critical for the team’s success.  You will also collaborate with other managers and cross-functional team members to set daily and weekly organizational priorities for customer work completion.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of a diverse technical team

  • Set expectations, prioritize case load and motivate team members to deliver quality work on-time, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds targets for all KPIs

  • Follow established processes and hold teams accountable to maintain highest level of code development

  • Assess team members performance, professional development and progress toward initiatives, providing feedback and assistance for day-to-day activities

  • Recruit, hire and on-board new staff members as needed

  • Initiate continual improvement of team processes, standards, methodologies and tools with a focus on scalability and quality

  • Monitor data and Data Services related metrics, ensuring data capture is consistent and report monthly metrics to management

  • Manage expedites, approvals, and escalations

  • Support sales enablement activities while working cross-functionally to develop cost/time estimates and scope definition

  • Occasional travel may be required

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of related professional experience and 3+ years effectively managing, leading and motivating direct reports

  • Experience with ETL processes, sFTP, SQL and SSIS

  • Basic understanding of database structures and functionality

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript; JSON knowledge desired

  • Familiarity with popular web browsers and principles of responsive design and accessibility

  • Basic understanding of telephony

  • Experience with quality assurance practices

  • The ability to work under tight deadlines and respond to changing business and technical environments

  • Experience engaging with people across a variety of levels with diverse levels of technical understanding

  • Ability to drive results through your job competencies of decision-making, effective communication and process improvement

  • Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results, instils trust, influence, strategic execution and talent development
