Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our renewal strategy and operations team based in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in maximizing customer lifetime value and ensuring the long-term success of our business. You will leveraging your strategic thinking and analytical skills, and customer-centric approach, you will develop and execute renewal strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, optimize revenue, and drive business growth.  

You will report to the Director of Subscription Lifecyle Management.  This role provides an opportunity to leverage your analytical prowess to understand processes, optimize business outcomes at a dynamic, fast growing software company and interact with senior leadership in a meaningful and highly visible way.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze large volumes of complex data about our customers and their sales contracts

  • Design sophisticated, tailored, data-driven strategies to renewing our customer base which enhance customer satisfaction, optimize revenue, and drive business growth. 

  • Measure the effectiveness of renewal campaigns using consistent, relevant, and reliable reporting on renewal metrics including pricing, retention, key performance indicators, and financial trends.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of renewal data and customer behavior to derive insights and propose actionable recommendations around our pricing strategies.

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting renewal performance, revenue forecasts, and retention rates.

  • Work cross-functionally to democratize data, influence decision-making, and support business growth.

  • Use strong analytic skills to solve problems with limited guidelines or precedent.

  • Review systems and processes to drive continuous improvement, leveraging automation tools and best practices.

  • Support ad-hoc analysis for finance, sales, and other functional areas as needed

What You Will Need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant STEM discipline.

  • 1-3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or quantitative analysis

  • Advanced Excel skills including logical and lookup formulas, pivots, and formatting

  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, establish credibility, be decisive, and articulate issues clearly and concisely

  • An inquisitive nature and exceptional attention to detail

  • Desire to be an independent worker with ability to conduct research, analyze data, and solve problems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to engage and collaborate with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds, including senior leadership

  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight) and business intelligence tools is a plus

  • A commitment to do the right things right

  • Each team member is required to have a career plan in place and reviewed with their manager after six months with our team.

  • The minimum starting pay range for this role is $68,000+ annually.

  • Pay progression is based on performance.
